Just beyond the rainbow’s
end,
you will find a place
in a quiet meadow
where the river bends,
and a soft wind blows;
a place of joy and light,
where the watercolors of life,
bounce off the waves,
and float off into the air;
painting a sky full of colors.
Each one
sprinkled with kindness.
tended with friendship
nourished with love.
That’s where I write
my silly words,
alone,
just me,
being me.
The someone you don't see.
Playfully scheming,
quietly dreaming,
of no particular time or place;
just the beating of my heart,
whispering the thoughts I share.
My sweet endeavor,
not meant to be terribly clever,
or forever.
Just my silly words,
written for awhile,
sent with a smile.
When you find that
life is hard to bear,
loneliness covers your soul,
silent tears fall;
when no one seems to care;
Come to find me there,
writing silly words;
waiting for you,
just where the river bends,
somewhere
over the rainbow

the soul would have no rainbow
if eyes had no tears
