Once Upon a time.........

once in a while,

  you'll find 

something so special,

that you catch your breath

and wonder if it's real.

Like a sweet melody

drifting thru the trees,

 where wildflowers grow,

high upon a windy hill

as the sun drifts down from above.

something that changes your life,

that opens a door,

 makes you smile,

and laugh

until you fall on the floor.

something that curls up inside your heart,

like a baby sound asleep.

to bring dreams of forever,

and promises to keep.



something that makes you believe,

in hope,

and love,

and fairy tales.

something that comes 

once upon a time......

but like every tale that's ever been told,

 the story must have an end.

and all that lingers is the memory.....
